Lovely spot, close enough to stores and civilization. Nice little extras like a chaise lounge and barbecue grill and canoe. The website mentioned a tv but with the digital signal it no longer works- there was a VCR/dvd player but we didn't realize that
ahead of time.
Watch out for little bugs in the evening if you use the screens that can be put in some of the windows on the porch, as they don't fit exactly, but that's a lovely partly screened/glassed in porch that we enjoyed a lot. The fireplace is a plus, although the
mounted deer head over the fireplace was a bit startling for those not used to this type of decor. We came up with names for the deer, one favorite was "Oscar." It takes a bit to get used to using bottled water for drinking/cooking/brushing teeth, but the
lake water did a reasonable job for everything else, and we adapted pretty quickly.
