  This was a very nice and lovely cabin on Salmon Lake. The cabin was very charming from its lake front screened-in porch to its late 1800's wood burning stove. The cabin was at the end of the lake and so was very quiet and peaceful. The cable and internet
  connection was very nice to have on rainy days. We were there for a week and a half and so saw a few. My only complaint of this property is that cabin’s dock was not very accommodating for swimming. The water past the dock was deep and you needed to use a
  rock to get into and out of the water. I would recommend a new dock with a staircase into the water. I would also recommend a larger dock in general with a flat area for chairs to sit by the lake. There was a very small grassy area for chairs by the lake but
  I would like to have had a larger more usable lake side area.

  This was our fourth visit and the last stay was as good as the first. We particular enjoy the screen porch for reading and watching the lake scene unfold everyday in its own peaceful way. The sounds from the birds and the quiet life of the lake aid us in our quest to slow down and enjoy each moment. Many times throughout the year I think about the nights we drift off to sleep hearing the loons calling out and reminding us of just how close we are to another mysterious world. We kayak on the lake and hike on nearby trails for exercise. On rainy days we light a fire and read/write the day away. This camp is a perfect place to give the body a rejuvenating rest. We take comfort when we leave knowing that we will be returning another year.

  Great location and Clean, 6 guys, towed up 3 boats. Plenty of room for boats and trailers right on the property. Great fishing.

  I would give Salmon Lake Retreat a 5 for all catagories. Wished we had sun earlier on the deck. The railling leading to the deck was a big help for us "older kids". Grand daughter had two friends next door to play with so she was happy. They had a ball fishing, caught alot but threw them all back!

  A quiet, peaceful cottage on a beautiful lake. Cottage is immaculate, well cared for and conveniently located. Perfect for anyone wishing some peace and quiet, a clean lake to swim in and a comfortable cottage.

  We had a fabulous time. The weather cooperated beautifully, the water was warm, the fish biting, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin was rustic, but what we expected. It was clean and provided everything we could possibly want. We didn't want to leave that fabulous spot and look forward to coming back again sometime.

  We loved our stay. We have kids 4,6 & 8 - they were having so much fun they didn't even ask for the tv (really!) Area is lovely, people friendly & helpful. Great moning and evening bird watching (osprey, hereon, loons etc.) from the dock.
