  We really fell in love with Maine and the home we stayed in was lovely. Barbara was right, the grandparent area (lower level bedroom, bathroom and sitting area) was perfect for our extended family. We would definately return to this area for a vacation.

  The house was in a good location and was comfortable and well kept. It was like being in ones own home on a lake, not just a rental. It had a nice little lawn in the back to sit out on and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. When we arrived everything
  was just as described.

  Quiet lake, wonderful for the grandchildren to be out in the paddle boat and the kayak alone.
  
  One negative - only a quarter of the grill worked.

  The renter should have contacted me about this and I would have corrected it. The grill has been replaced with a new gas grill.

  A lovely home that is more spacious than it appears in the photo beautifully situated on a peaceful shore of Lake McGrath. The home was very clean and welcoming, we felt as though we were guests in someone's home rather than renters.

  Several members of our extended family spent a week in this lovely home and everyone from the grandmother to the grandkids found something to enjoy. Sitting on the deck off the kitchen we enjoyed a BBQ with a beautiful view of the lake. The grandkids enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak. The well kept grounds in the back that led down to two different docks were gently sloped and relaxing for all. Inside, it was more spacious than I expected with a beautiful view out the picture windows as well as two of the bedrooms. Newly remodled, the baths were clean and updated. Plenty of amenities meant that all we needed to bring were sheets, towels and food, it had everything else we needed and more. The secluded spot felt miles away from the crowds yet is was easy to get to and close enough to shops making grocery shopping easy. I would definitely return to this calming oasis.
