  • Looking to go fishing on your vacation? Come to the BELGRADE LAKES region where the lakes range in size from 500 acres to over 8,000 acres. All the Belgrade Lakes, except McGrath Pond, have excellent fishing and state maintained boat launches for easy accessibility. Open water fishing is permitted on all the lakes. Boating

 If you're looking for a great boating vacation, come to the BELGRADE LAKES region.  Great Pond, Long Pond, Messalonskee Lake (Snow Pond), Salmon Lake, East Pond, North Pond and McGrath Pond make up the Belgrade Lakes chain.  All the Belgrade Lakes, except McGrath Pond have well maintained, public boat ramps.
